Cardiovascular fitness program involves various types of exercises that are specifically designed to increase the heart rate of an individual. When it comes to increasing the heart rate, an individual is encouraged to include exercises that use large muscle groups such as the chest, arm, leg, back, abdomen, and shoulder muscles. Aerobic or cardio fitness program focuses on increasing the heart rate by using mainly large muscle groups in the legs and lungs. A core exercises program also requires an individual to use muscles that are under stress during normal activities, which is often used as a way to prevent injury during any physical activity.

Most people do not realize the importance of core exercises until they start working out. Core muscles are responsible for supporting the entire weight of an individual’s body. If these muscles are weak, there is no way that the body can support the full weight of an individual’s body. This leads to a number of physical problems, such as poor posture, back pain, neck pain, knee pain, and even a form of diabetes. Hence, it is important for an individual to work on increasing their fitness levels and the core muscles through exercise, especially strength training.
